J.R. Hurt has lived in Northeast Oklahoma for over 45 years. He has held positions with private and publicly traded organizations as well as managed budgets ranging from $1.5 MM to $115 MM for healthcare and tribal entities. After serving in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, he transitioned into the real estate world, where he worked as a real estate agent for six years. Since 2021, J.R. has worked as a Mortgage Loan Originator and is licensed in the states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

His experience as a realtor has enabled him to better understand the challenges realtors face daily and personally. J.R. and his wife, Brooke, live in Northeast Oklahoma and have six children and two grandchildren. They enjoy taking trips and making memories, plus hanging out by the pool when they can.
